Brisbane Musical Theatre for ages 6–16.
Build confidence. Find your voice. Join a creative community.
At BeXD Create, students learn to sing, act and perform in a supportive environment designed to build confidence, creativity and lifelong friendships.
Whether it’s their first time on stage or their fiftieth, every young performer is supported to grow, explore and enjoy the journey.
Our programs focus on authentic expression — giving students the tools to share their ideas, feelings and creativity with the world rather than trying to shape them into cookie-cutter performers.
Be Excited. Be You. Be XD.
Create and Perform a Musical in One Week
Our Musical in a Week program is BeXD Create’s signature school holiday experience.
In just six days, students rehearse, create and perform a full musical production - working with professional teachers and performing for a live audience at the end of the week.
Every student receives meaningful stage time, creative input and individual support, making the experience exciting for both beginners and experienced performers.
Students develop skills in:
• singing
• acting
• stagecraft
• collaboration
• storytelling
The week ends with a fully staged production complete with lights, microphones and costumes.
We put joy first.
BeXD was founded because we saw too many talented performers go through competitive, perfection-focused training and come out the other side having lost the joy that made them fall in love with performing in the first place.
At BeXD, students are challenged to develop strong performing arts skills and are taught by working professionals — but always within a community where they feel valued, supported and in charge of their own goals and journey.
Our aim isn’t just to create great singers, actors and dancers.
It’s to help young performers:
• build confidence
• form lasting friendships
• strengthen communication skills
• develop positive mental health habits
So they can grow into artists who genuinely enjoy the creative process.
" I cannot thank them enough for their genuine enthusiasm for children's performing arts and their ability to grow children's confidence in creativity and performance skills. "
KIPA - Kids in Performing Arts
Our KIPA (Kids in Performing Arts) program is a weekly musical theatre class designed to help kids explore and learn performing arts in a supportive environment.
Students train in singing, acting and movement while working together on creative projects throughout the term.
Instead of focusing on competition or perfection, the program focuses on confidence, creativity and collaboration.
Each term ends with a showcase where students celebrate what they’ve created together.
Industry Professionals Who Love Teaching
BeXD hires teachers based on two simple criteria.
Our teachers have performed on the QPAC stage, worked at Disney, performed off West End productions or toured Australia.
We don’t just talk about performing - we’ve lived it.
That difficult note?
We can demonstrate it.
Questions about auditions, agents or the industry?
We’ve been there and we’re happy to share what we know.
Not all great performers are great teachers.
And not all great teachers are great performers.
We carefully choose the rare people who are both.
Our teachers genuinely love helping young performers grow in confidence and creativity.
Looking for kids musical theatre during the school holidays?

9 musicals, 3 originals, 14 short films and counting!
Students at BeXD Create regularly perform in original productions, workshops and creative showcases that celebrate their growth as performers.
