Class Description

In the first week of the June/July school holidays, BeXD Create is putting on a production of High School Musical Jr with our students! For those interested in a lead role or featured ensemble role, this is your chance to audition for the Director, Choreographer, Vocal Coach and Music Director. During the audition process, you'll have the chance to showcase your talents and be considered for a range of exciting roles in the show. Please review the below audition brief for information about audition requirements, available roles and practice material. Students will be informed of casting announcements prior to the beginning of the week long rehearsal. During the workshop, students will dive into a rigorous rehearsal schedule, honing their singing, dancing, and acting abilities to deliver an unforgettable performance at the end of the week. With expert guidance and supportive environment, students will learn valuable skills that will help them take their passion for the performing arts to the next level. GROUP AUDITION - The group audition will be in the morning on 10th June. This is for all students wishing to gain some audition experience and be considered for featured ensemble roles. This audition will consist of a group dance and group vocal audition. Those attending a solo audition are encouraged to also attend the group audition if possible. PLEASE NOTE: By registering your child for this High School Musical Jr. audition, you are committing to their enrolment and participation in the week-long workshop from 26th June - 1st July, costing $380, regardless of the role they are given.
