Adult Acting for Stage & Screen - Term 1

Class Description

Unleash your artistic potential! This class is designed for those adult students who want to build or refine their acting skills for both live performance and camera work. All experience levels are welcome—whether you’re new to acting, have some community theatre experience, or want to develop skills specifically for stage and/or screen. Led by our experienced teachers, participants will learn to bring characters to life, gain hands-on experience in acting for stage and screen, and immerse themselves in the joy of live performance. Each week, you’ll build confidence and skill through character and script analysis, learning and practising acting techniques and practical sessions rehearsing scenes or plays, filming self tapes or creating simple short films. Each students will receive personalized coaching and feedback from experienced instructors who current work in the film and theatre industries. Students will also receiv all footage from the ter,s to use for reels if they wish. Whether you’re preparing for the stage or looking to gain confidence in front of and behind the camera, this class offers a supportive environment where creativity, friendship, craft and self-expression are celebrated.
